Registering EDS files in device list

In the Device List pane, registered EDS files can be confirmed, deleted and new EDS files can be added using the sub menus from EDS File. The EDS files for EtherNet/IP devices are available on the web site of each vendor.

Once the EDS file is registered, the registration is not required from the next time.

• Deleting EDS files

  Select EDS File > Delete or Delete EDS File from the context menu to delete a device from the list. EtherNet/IP devices manufactured by Panasonic cannot be deleted.

• Sorting EDS files

  Use the buttons By Vendor or By Device to adapt the device list to your needs.

• Searching EDS files

  Enter text into the text search field and press <Return> to list devices matching your search.
