Changing distances between objects

New rows or new columns can be inserted between objects in order to place new objects between them or to reduce distance after deleting objects.

Insert row:

Edit > Placement modes > Open row or press <Ctrl>+<O>
To enlarge distance, move cursor to desired position and click
To reduce distance, press and hold <Shift>, move cursor to desired position and click

Insert column:

Edit > Placement modes > Open column or press <Ctrl>+<U>
To enlarge distance, move cursor to desired position and click
To reduce distance, press and hold <Shift>, move cursor to desired position and click

NOTE

Switch off these placement modes by right-clicking or pressing <ESC> or by selecting another icon in the toolbar.
To reduce the network height to a minimum, press <Ctrl>+<Shift>+<K> or use Tools > Optimize network height.
